LuAnne Lee
LuAnne has been an accredited RMT for twelve years. Why? To fulfill a passionate curiosity from birth of anatomy, physiology and alternative modalities of caring for various physical conditions and needs.
She loves the challenge of combining her evidence based medical knowledge with an intuitive “knowing with her hands”. This combination creates and facilitates a journey for you to a safe place where your body heals and rebalances. During the journey, she manipulates tissues, bones, nervous and visceral systems, craniosacral fluid and the fascia that surrounds and affects every part of your body. As she works, your body realizes the balance it seeks and accepts the healing we all need. She strives to provide only the optimum of “crafted care” for each individual need.
LuAnne is an athlete herself and has faced numerous physical “set/backs”, challenges and “resets”. She thus has an innate empathy (and professional ability) to provide support as you walk through your own experiences. She is committed to always be there and authentically present for you.

Dr. Shabita Teja B.Sc. (Pharm), ND
Hi everyone,
My name is Dr. Shabita Teja.
I wanted to introduce myself as I’ve recently joined the team at Sinclair Wellness Centre as a Naturopathic Doctor.
I’m from the Lower Mainland and went to UBC to become a pharmacist. I knew I wanted to become a doctor so I went onto graduate with academic excellence from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and in fact, that’s where I first met Dr. Van Gaver 10 years ago as a first year student.
Unfortunately, I became ill and had to take a medical leave of absence that turned into years away from school and fighting to find the root cause of my now chronic pain. I moved from student to patient of Dr. Van Gaver’s undergoing his Neuro Recover IV addiction treatment as I had been prescribed a number of different painkillers including methadone, fentanyl and even ketamine.
I wanted help with tapering off of them while trying to ensure that the pain not spiral out of control. I’m thankful that with a number of different therapies including both conventional and naturopathic medicine, that I am able to manage my chronic condition. I am now living a full and vibrant life instead of watching from the sidelines.
I understand what it’s like to feel alone in your journey towards health and wellness which is why I promise to walk alongside you and help every step of the way so that you also feel like you’re living your life to the fullest.
In addition to being a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, I have certifications in Acupuncture, Prescriptive rights, IV and Chelation therapy including the Neuro Recover Addiction treatments.
I may not be Dr. Aaron Van Gaver, as he’s one of a kind and one of the best people I know. I hope that you find value in being seen by me. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Tattoos, piercings, a bald head and a beard – that pretty much sums up what you get when you meet me for the first time. But that’s just surface stuff, what really drives me – is helping others achieve their goals. Here’s the truth – I’ve never had the most perfect life, I don’t scream “naturopathic doctor” when you see me; but when you sit down in my office and tell me your story, or you listen attentively to me lecture, you can see the compassion and feel my passion for this medicine. My gift, is the ability to help others see their strengths, to be there and listen when needed and most importantly call you out on your bullshit! (ya! I said it) So much for conventional bio’s.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Toxicology at the University of Guelph where I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a pharmaceutical chemist for a short period of time. Following this, I completed my Naturopathic Medicine Diploma from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, which then brought me here to Vancouver to do a 2 year Associateship.
Naturopathic medicine’s main philosophy is that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. My job is to remove any obstacles to this healing process so that our bodies are better able to heal. Through the use of nutritional supplements, botanical formulations, acupuncture, IV vitamins, lifestyle changes and physical therapies, I believe this goal can be achieved.
Some may ask what naturopathic medicine can do for them! Most simply put, I can put together a protocol that meets your individual needs and are specific to your goals. People believe that there are no alternatives than to live with chronic disease; this just isn’t the case. I have helped numerous people with chronic conditions that have exhausted themselves with conventional treatments and have been told that they will have to live with their pain and discomfort for the rest of their lives.
Below I have listed the most typical conditions treated in my clinic; all of which have responded well to naturopathic therapies.

Musculoskeletal: Arthritis, chronic pain
Intestinal: Crohn’s disease, colitis, IBS, celiac disease

I would like to invite you to visit the Sinclair Wellness Centre. If you have any questions about the above mentioned conditions or services, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Wishing you all the best in health and happiness,
Dr Aaron Van Gaver, BSc ND Naturopathic Physician
